Summer 2020 online program
Overview
Summer art program Art Is Everywhere is designed for children of various ages. I will offer classes for 2 age groups: Grades 1- 4 and Grades 4-7. We’ll meet via Zoom twice a week for a 2-week block, which will have its theme and educational goals.
Summer 2020 themes will be devoted to broaden art experience in painting, drawing and art appreciation. Students will work on their projects using their favorite mediums. Each class will include an art history overview and a live demo showing techniques, followed by a supervised work on the individual projects.
Program will run in July and half of August (3 blocks), with a possible extended session in late August, if requested.

Grades 1-4 , Russian-speaking group
1.15 hour class twice a week: Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00-12:15.
Block 1. Paint and Draw with Great Masters . July 7, 9, 14, 16
Block 2. Art in Everyday Life . July 21, 23, 28, 30
Block 3. Celebrating Summer with Color . August 4, 6, 11, 13
Cost $70 per block + one-time registration fee ($5)
Grades 4-7 , English-speaking group
1.5 hour class twice a week: Wednesday and Friday, 3:00 – 4:30.
Block 1. Summer landscapes: virtual plein-airs . July 8, 10, 15, 17
Block 2. Beautiful small things around us . July 22, 24, 29, 31
Block 3. Dreams and illusions . August 5, 7, 12, 14
Cost $85 per block + one-time registration fee ($5)
Sibling discount: 10%
Minimal number of students in the group: 6.
Materials
Basic set of painting and drawing materials will be required. Materials will be purchased by students; a final supply list will be provided in advance.
Russian-speaking groups
IMPORTANT UPDATE: the Tuesday/Thursday group (1-4 grades) will be entirely Russian-speaking.
